If you make a tree house for kids, they will love you for the rest of their childhood life. However, you have to be sure that it is a safe environment for both boys and girls to play. There are three vital components you need to know. It would be the foundation, the posts and the rest of the construction. Taking note of these three things will result to a sturdy fort or tree house. You have to find a good tree. It should be sturdy because it will have to carry the entire weight of the fort. Carefully assess it to determine how much weight it can hold. You don't have to measure it, but you just have to make a decision as to whether or not it will be the main post support or just a supporting leg. If you want, you can design the four posts around the tree.

You have to prepare your materials. Here's the part where you have to shell out your money for the joy of your kid. You need to buy pressure treated lumber to your desired size. Don't forget the decking material, galvanized lag screws and washer. Joint hangers, rafter ties, deck screws, pulley for a rope and camouflage tarp will be needed too. Also, you have to bring lots of nails for you to hammer. You can buy these materials in the nearby Home Depot.

After buying the materials for the tree house for kids, slowly bring to life the plan you have. Don't forget to include your kids. Ask them what they would like. This would be a great bonding experience for the whole family.
